Fire Testing
Fire Resistance Testing – BS EN 1634-1
Fire Resistance Testing – BS EN 1634-1
BS EN 1634-1 is the European standard used to assess the fire resistance of doorsets, determining their ability to prevent the passage of flames and hot gases for a specified period.
TLJ has undertaken primary fire resistance testing of its electronic locking solutions across various door core constructions, providing supporting evidence for commonly specified 30- and 60-minute fire resistance requirements.
This testing supports the use of TLJ products within fire-resistant doorsets, subject to the relevant test evidence, certification or third-party assessment.
Certifire
Certifire is an independent third-party passive fire product certification scheme that assures performance, quality, reliability and traceability of products and systems. The Certifire brand is recognised by regulatory authorities worldwide as an international mark of fire safety across a diverse range of passive fire products.
KIWA

Physical Security
PAS24
PAS 24: 2022 + A1: 2024
PAS 24:2022 is a UK security standard used to assess the ability of doorsets and windows to resist physical attack and attempted forced entry.
The testing is designed to replicate methods that could be used by an opportunistic burglar and assesses the complete doorset, including the door, frame, locks, cylinders and associated hardware.
Testing includes a combination of mechanical loading and manual attack methods to assess whether the doorset can withstand attempts to gain entry.
Security hardware is an important part of the overall performance of the doorset, with TLJ's supplied 3-star diamond-rated security cylinders providing enhanced protection against common forms of cylinder attack.
PAS 24:2022 provides developers, contractors and residents with greater confidence that a doorset has been independently tested to a recognised level of enhanced security.
Testing to BS 6375-2 and BS 6375-3 as well.
SKG 2 star

SKG 3 star

Quality Assurance
UKCA
The UKCA marking is a new UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most goods which previously required the CE marking, known as ‘new approach’ goods.
The UKCA marking came into effect on 1 January 2021. However, to allow businesses time to adjust to the new requirements, firms will still be able to use the CE marking until 1 January 2023 in most cases.
The UKCA marking alone cannot be used for goods placed on the Northern Ireland market; additional testing must be undertaken in this case.
ANSI
The American National Standards Institute oversees Standards and Conformity Assessment Activities in The United States.
FCC
