One month in the life of TLJ for Robyn Dawson

We'd like to introduce Robyn Dawson, one of our newest members of the team here at TLJ.

Robyn joined us in December in a new Internal Sales Manager role and brings with her a wealth of sales and customer service experience.

We took time out to see how she has found her first month at TLJ:

Tell us about your role and what you bring to TLJ?

It's an exciting role as it is newly created to accommodate the growth of TLJ and development of latest software. As Internal Sales Manager, I am working alongside the Support Team to ensure customers are receiving the best level of service with a Support Plan specific to their business needs.

What has your first month at TLJ been like?

It has been an absolute pleasure! I have been made to feel so welcome and have been impressed with the attentive and thorough onboarding process.

Most interesting TLJ fact learnt so far?

Well, I’m torn between the incredible fact that TLJ has experienced a consistent year-on-year growth of 30% OR the equally impressive knowledge that Luke from the support team can demolish four slices of chocolate cake during the song ‘Man, I Feel Like a Woman!’

Proudest achievement in work and/or life?

I feel very proud of my time at The Samaritans, both my time as a listening volunteer and behind the scenes on the Directorate. It’s incredible the impact a safe space to be heard without judgement can make.

Favourite thing to do on your day off?

I love live music and my favourite thing to do is go to a gig – from a small dive-bar to a full festival.

What are you most looking forward to at TLJ in 2024?

Getting stuck in! There are so many innovations and developments that it feels like I’ve joined at just the right time.

A French film called ‘Amélie’ that I find so delightful I have the main character tattooed on my leg!

Favourite pizza topping?

I almost got through this without mentioning being vegan! 👀 So… a vegan version of BBQ chicken, please!
