Bale & Anchor, Lewisham
Bale & Anchor is the latest addition to Legal & General's BTR portfolio.
22 May 2024
New for 2024 is Bale House which is a 35 storey building just a stone’s throw from the Anchor. This building will feature even more resident amenities with a cinema room, co-working spaces, gym, library and on the 34th and 35th floors a resident club called Ampersand featuring excellent views of the city’s skyline from the roof terrace.
In line with the modern look and feel of the buildings, TLJ have supplied their design-led electronic lock solution, the Invisible. With the Invisible lock, all the essential parts of the lock mechanism are housed within the door itself; only the lever, cylinder escutcheon and LED indicator are visible to the user.
By choosing this model, the developers can match their levers to fit with the rest of the build and provide a modern and elegant look to complement their interiors perfectly.
Across the two buildings, TLJ have installed Invisible lock sets for all apartment doors, along with Comelit Intercom systems and access control readers on communal doors. The internal fire-rated doorsets were supplied by Doorpac, with whom TLJ have worked on many successful projects.
The development has been ranked 1st out of 15 BTR properties in the Borough of Lewisham on HomeViews, which is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work put in by all parties in bringing this project to fruition.
I have worked with TLJ Access Control for over a decade and the service we receive is always excellent.
Although the company has grown significantly in that time, they have maintained the personal touch.
All we need to do is pick up the phone, and they are ready to assist in any way that they can.
