How’s this for a pair of aces? We’ve secured both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certification for a further three years.
And here’s the Royal Flush: the accreditors awarded us both certificates with no follow-up actions and no recommendations!
Despite the reference to a game of cards, there’s no luck involved here - just the hard work and dedication of everyone at TLJ.
As we continue to expand our operations globally, these prestigious international accreditations will be increasingly important.
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international standard-setting body composed of representatives from various national standards organisations.
ISO 9001:2015 is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements
ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework that an organisation can follow, rather than establishing environmental performance requirements.
At TLJ we believe it’s vital to achieve, maintain and work to exceed these standards. Not only do they act as important credentials for our business, but prove to existing and future clients, stakeholders and business partners that we are committed to delivering the highest operational, managerial and ethical standards every single day.
TLJ’s very own “Ace in the Pack”, HSQE Director Claire Martin, heads up the project. She said:
I’m over the moon that we have achieved both these important accreditations for a further 3 years, even more so that we have no follow-up actions or recommendations.
It’s testament to every single person in the business that we have proved conclusively to the accrediting body how much we take these standards seriously. It’s not a case of just performing well on ‘exam day’ but embedding these ways of working into the fabric of what we do, and achieving them every day. Especially so in recent times, given the extra pressure the Covid pandemic has placed upon everybody.
Well done all!
