TLJ present donations to 2024 charities of the year

At the TLJ team day in December 2023 an employee vote selected the two charities that TLJ have committed to support for the whole of 2024.

Both charities have a special place in the hearts of TLJ, with members of the team knowing first hand just how much of a difference these charities can make. The team were keen to support the work that Fit Mums and Friends do through their Together in Grief Forest Project which supports bereaved children and also to support Kidney Research UK as a member of the team has suffered from kidney disease and undergone a transplant as a result.

The support has been kick started with the donation of £5,000 split between the two charities and other activities are already taking place to further support them. For the whole of March the TLJ team are participating in The March March which is raising funds for Kidney Research UK. Some of the TLJ team have also spent time volunteering for Fit Mums and Friends at their recent event The Headscarf Hustle, which was helping to raise funds for a statue in honour of Hull's Headscarf Revolutionaries.

Further events planned for the year include a charity golf day and a walk along the 100km of the Northumberland Coastal Path which the team are already starting to train for. Watch this space for more charity updates!
