Topping off a great year with the Tech Innovation Partnership was our attendance at Property Week's Student Accommodation Conference
Held at the prestigious Intercontinental Hotel, London O2, the student housing community once again gathered on Wednesday 8th December to network and debate with notable operators, investors, developers, universities and higher education thought leaders. Uniquely this year, the event was hybrid so delegates could meet in person or within a dedicated online environment. All seminars and discussions were streamed live too.
Once again we shared an exhibition space with our partners at SmartRent and Quadient. Together we represent a unique, modular integrated proposition for PBSA investors, developers and operators. TLJ's electronic access control systems and door locks integrate with SmartRent's building IoT solutions offering simple and convenient ‘single app’ control for residents. Adding Quadient's smart parcel lockers to the equation makes for a truly innovative ‘street to sofa’ solution for residents, and a full suite of building control MI for operators.
The first twelve months of the Tech Innovation Partnership was a tremendous success. Like any good recipe, it's the quality of the ingredients that has a major effect on the flavour of the finished dish. We're very confident that we've got the basics right - between ourselves at TLJ, SmartRent's expertise in IoT and Quadient's smart parcel lockers we have a unique proposition for residential property investors, developers, operators and residents.
We're also very aware that a good recipe can often become a great one with the addition of another key ingredient.
That's why, in 2022, we'll be welcoming a fourth member into the Tech Innovation Partnership. More information in the New Year, but we're confident that the proposition will become even stronger with inclusion of a leading digital infrastructure partner.
