TLJ install on unique urban regeneration scheme in Brighton

Specialist regeneration and property developer U+I plc turn derelict municipal market into a powerhouse for regeneration in the centre of Brighton

Circus Street development

Construction of the scheme in Circus Street is on target to deliver 142 new homes, 450 managed student bedrooms and a 30,000 sq ft office building as well as a number of workshop and retail opportunities.

TLJ have been appointed by building contractor Henry Construction and are working with M&E contractor ProMEP to install Access Control Wall Readers. These are primarily being fitted to shared access doors for the private residential areas and communal doors in the commercial office building. In addition, access readers are also being installed on South East Dance’s new studio – “The Dance Space” – which is also part of the Circus Street development. This will allow controlled access via contactless keycard, fob or via TLJ Mobile Keys – opening doors by smartphone.

The scheme is being completed in the stages with the final element, The Dance Space, due to open later in 2021.
