TLJ’s latest student accommodation project for Watkin Jones Group continues apace in Wembley
Kelaty House is a £106m mixed-use development from Watkin Jones Group, in the shadow of the iconic football stadium.
The development comprises a 300 bed apart-hotel and 699 student bedrooms, split between cluster flats (610 beds) and studios (89 beds). TLJ were chosen to supply and fit electronic access control for the latter, to be known as Pavilion Court and operated by Fresh Student Living.
We are installing Identity-model electronic, contactless locks on all student rooms. The striking ‘split’ design, with separate handle and key card reader, make the Identity stand out from conventional electronic locksets. Standard operation by RFID key fobs can be supplemented by an upgrade to TLJ Mobile Key: opening doors by smartphone.
Pavilion Court is on course to open for the 2021/22 academic year from September, with the apart-hotel being run by Citadines.
