GRAHAM Group have successfully topped out at the LIV Student complex in Belfast for developer Valeo Management, where TLJ are installing over 700 electronic contactless locks on all bedrooms and studio flats.
Scheduled for completion in September 2021, LIV Student Belfast will support the new Ulster University campus in the city centre. Ranging from 12 to 14 storeys, the complex will provide 576 en-suite bedrooms and 141 studios, as well as retail units, car parking and landscaped courtyard areas.
TLJ were commissioned to supply, install and commission our Revolution model electronic lock for this highly significant PBSA development. The project specified TLJ’s Mobile Keys system, giving students the ultimate convenience of using their phone as their room key. In anticipation of a post-COVID world, the removal of physical keys supports the residence’s ongoing cleanliness regime too.
As proof of TLJ’s flexibility and expertise in delivering bespoke solutions, we re-engineered the Revolution model to be smartphone compatible, specifically for this project.
Scott Orme, Commercial Director said:
Great to be working on such an important development as this magnificent PBSA in Belfast. It’s testament to our R&D team that we were able to turn around the Mobile Key integration on the Revolution lock model so quickly. Come next year, LIV Student will have a residence for which they can be rightly proud.
