RFID Credentials

The physical option

TLJ supply a range of physical credentials that utilise RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to allow convenient access to electronic door locks and associated access control.

These credentials can be key cards, fobs or wrist bands and all can be personalised with your own branding (logo only for fobs and wristbands). We also supply bamboo key cards, which are an excellent eco-friendly alternative to the traditional plastic key card.

RFID credentials are unaffected by electromagnetic fields, so unlike magnetic swipe systems, TLJ key cards, fobs and wrist bands will not be affected by being close to mobile phones, preventing the frustrating locked out scenario.

Physical credentials can also be used with our TLJ writeback technology. This creates a hybrid of an online and offline system, allowing the credential to carry information from an offline door lock back to an online hotspot such as a front entrance or elevator controller. This allows information such as low battery warnings and open records to be accessed without visiting each individual lock.

All TLJ access credentials are waterproof, durable and can be re-used unlimited times.

All physical credentials are designed to durable and easy to clean, meaning they are perfect to be used over and over again. It’s simple to reprogram all credentials so they can be reassigned to new guests or residents as many times as needed.

Writeback Technology

TLJ Writeback Technology creates a bridge between online and offline access control environments.

Using credentials such as keycards, fobs or mobile keys, information can securely travel between offline locks and connected online readers throughout a building. This allows operators to benefit from many of the advantages of a fully connected system without the complexity and cost of hard wired infrastructure.

For example, if an offline lock reports a low battery warning, that information can be transferred through an online reader elsewhere within the building and automatically communicated back to the management platform. This gives operators greater visibility while reducing maintenance delays and unnecessary site visits.
