We're delighted to announce our partnership with Grupo Eurofesa and with it our expansion into mainland Spain. The move allows us to better serve the country's booming student accommodation (PBSA) and residential apartment (BTR) sectors. Future expansion into Spanish hotels and holiday parks is well within the capabilities of the new partnership. To support the initiative we have produced a Spanish language version of the TLJ website to provide customer information in their native tongue.
As our official partner in the country, Grupo Eurofesa are trained to the same high standards as our UK-based engineering and service staff. That means they are ready to install our full range of electronic locks and access control systems, as well as provide remote online and telephone support. Their field-based engineers can provide hands-on assistance when required, supported by TLJ's experts in the UK.
Our first joint project is a high profile PBSA student accommodation scheme located in the Aravaca district of Madrid. Led by global real estate investment, development and asset management firm Round Hill Capital, the 500-bed scheme will bring much needed high-quality student housing to the city. Construction is set to start in 2021 and the development is scheduled to be ready for occupation for the 2023/24 academic year. It will be operated by PBSA specialists Nido Student.
