Following the successful launch of true Salford One back in 2020, a second building is now in place at the Discovery Quay site and in September 2023 true Salford Two was successfully launched.
Complementing its sister building perfectly, the new building has all the amazing features and amenities of the first property with the added bonus of a spectacular roof terrace with views over the city’s skyline.
What is perhaps even more impressive is that work only began on this project in October 2022, meaning Bricks Group delivered this 457 bed student accommodation building in less than 12 months!
TLJ was delighted to be awarded the contract to supply the electronic locks and access control for this second property and pleased to continue our relationship with both the Bricks Group and true Student.

As well as providing our usual high standard installation and training to true Student we also provided additional support and peace of mind with an engineer on site during their busiest days for students moving in.

As with many projects that TLJ deliver, Salford Two required a close working relationship with the mechanical and electrical contractor to complete the works.

It is envisaged that within the next year, operator true Student will be upgrading to TLJ Mobile Keys, the ultimate in contactless access control systems. TLJ Mobile Keys removes the need for physical access keys or tokens by giving users the ability to open doors using only their smartphone.
Following the launch of the building, the scheme was shortlisted in the Build-to-rent Development of the Year category at the Insider Media North West Residential Property Awards.
